I’m Melanie. I was born in Northern Germany and spent my first 30 years there. Then, thanks to a job opportunity, I moved to lovely and picturesque Switzerland for five wonderful and unforgettable years. In 2013, LOVE made me relocate to New Jersey! I re-met a childhood friend, we fell in love, and I left everything behind to join him here in the United States. We are now happily married. In September 2020, I decided to start my business pursuing my lifelong passion for refurbishing furniture. And so, Refurbished Treasures by Melanie was born!
